Featuring a NEMA 5-15P input connection, this surge protector provides nine NEMA 5-15R outlets. Two block-sized receptacles provide room for transformers. Compatible with a 120V 50/60 Hz power input, the APC SurgeArrest provides 120V at 15A. Connected equipment is protected by a 2770-joule surge energy rating and a peak current of up to 40,000A. Using a 1 RU form factor, this SurgeArrest is designed for easy installation in a server rack. A circuit breaker switch on the front panel sits next to an on/off power switch, which controls the eight rear outlets. The ninth outlet, a front convenience outlet, is not connected to this on/off switch. A ground screw is present on the rear panel and included cord management rails can be installed to prevent undue strain on outlets while keeping power cables organized.
